Colloquium for Human Rights Education and Sustainability
The Colloquium for Human Rights Education and Sustainability was held 11-12 December 2019 at Sedona Hotel, Yangon. The objective of the colloquium was for the development of human rights law course in Myanmar. The Denmark-Myanmar Programme on Rule of Law and Human Rights jointly with East Yangon University and Dagon University invited senior lecturers from Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam to share their experiences in developing human rights courses and programmes for Law students and Political Science students. Altogether 68 participants, including professors and human rights teachers from different law departments of Myanmar attended the colloquium and actively participated in the discussion.
